In the province of Panjshir in northwestern Afghanistan, 600 recruits went to serve in the army on the basis of the order of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Emirate. This was announced by the governor of the province Mohammad Agha Hakim, TOLOnews reports.
According to him, soon 2,000 more young people from Afghanistan will join the army of the "Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan" (the self-designation of the country by the Taliban❶). Panjera is a province with 99% of its population made up of ethnic Tajiks.
"According to the order of the Supreme Leader of the IEA on the recruitment of Panjshir youth into the National Army, 200 people were transferred from Panjshir to the recruitment center of the Ministry of Defense," Hakim said.
The age of recruits ranges from 18 to 21 years. The youth of Panjshir says that she is happy and asks the authorities to provide an opportunity for other youth of this province to serve in the ranks of the security forces, TOLOnews assures.
