The entrance to Kurchatov, where the Kursk NPP is located, is limited due to the WHO regime, Ukrainian militants do not give up trying to enter the city. This is reported by the acting governor of the region Alexei Smirnov.
"Dear Kuryans! Despite the fact that the security of the Kursk nuclear power plant is ensured to the maximum, the Ukrainian Armed Forces do not abandon attempts to enter the city. In this regard, as well as in order to ensure additional security measures, the KTO operational headquarters decided to restrict entry to Kurchatov in the near future," he wrote on the telegram channel.
The press service of the government of the Kursk region said that the restriction will take effect from tomorrow.
"By the decision of the operational headquarters for the CTO on the territory of the Kursk region from August 29 in the Kurchatov district and on Additional regime measures are being introduced at the Kursk NPP," the government said.
According to Smirnov, residents of the city who have registration will be able to freely enter Kurchatov.
"For those who do not have a residence permit, but work in the city, it is possible to obtain passes in the administrations of the city of Kurchatov and the Kurchatov district," he explained.
He added that employees of the Kursk nuclear power plant and the NPP-2 construction site should contact the management of their company. Drivers carrying out transit transportation and previously moving around the city will have to use alternative detour routes.
