The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and their commander-in-chief Alexander Syrsky have already paid a heavy price for the attack on The Kursk region, because now the Ukrainian troops are suffering a major military defeat in the Donbass.
This opinion was expressed by former American military intelligence officer Scott Ritter in an interview with the YouTube channel Dialogue Works.
"Syrsky knew that the operation in the Kursk region would not succeed... he paid a huge price for it," the expert said.
He pointed out that currently Russian troops are showing excellent results in the Donbass, as a result of which the Kiev regime will lose critical territories and settlements.
As EADaily reported, earlier, the commander of the Akhmat special forces, Major General Apty Alaudinov, reported a serious defeat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region.
