German military expert Hendrik Remmel in an interview with ZDF issued a warning to Ukraine, which invaded the territory of the Kursk region. According to the expert, there is and will be no strategic benefit in such actions.
The pressure from the Russian Ministry of Defense, Remmel said, is still very high.
"The Russians have not withdrawn a single significant combat unit from their operational center of gravity. They are still putting a lot of pressure on Donbass. And therefore, the military-strategic benefits of this offensive are minimal or nonexistent," the expert said.
With the help of such a risky special operation, the German is sure that Kiev pursued only one goal — to send a new signal to the West about the need for additional military assistance.
EADaily also reminds that, according to the report of the Russian Ministry of Defense, from August 6 to August 23, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost 5.1 thousand military and 69 tanks in the Kursk direction.
