The Basmanny court of Moscow arrested the 100-meter apartment of the daughter of the head of the main personnel department of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation Yuri Kuznetsov, accused of taking a bribe, RIA Novosti reports.
The arrest was imposed on the apartment belonging to Kuznetsov's daughter. According to the document, the total area of housing is 105.3 square meters, the apartment is located in the west of Moscow near Rublevsky highway in a business-class residential complex. The market value of similar real estate, as follows from open sources, today is about 50 million rubles.
Last Thursday, the Second Western District Military Court rejected Kuznetsov's complaint. He will be in jail at least until October 12.
According to investigators, in 2021-2023, as the head of the 8th Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Kuznetsov received bribes from representatives of commercial structures for certain actions in their favor. As an informed source told RIA Novosti, the total amount of the bribe exceeds 30 million rubles.
All of Kuznetsov's accounts have been arrested, and cash has been seized. According to the Investigative Committee, during searches at Kuznetsov's places of actual residence and registration, more than 100 million rubles, gold coins, collectible watches and luxury items were seized.
