The French actress who took part in the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games — 2024 in In Paris, Barbara Butch complained about harassment on the Web. This was announced by her lawyer Audre Msellati on a social network.

"After the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, the artist, DJ and activist Barbara Butch became the object of an unheard-of campaign of cyberbullying and slander. She is filing a complaint about these actions committed by both citizens of the country and foreigners, and intends to prosecute anyone who tries to intimidate her in the future," the lawyer said in a statement.

She clarified that Barbara Butch was threatened with murder, torture and rape. Also, the artist's social networks are full of various insults.

Barbara Butch was the central figure of that most dubious scene-a hint of The Last Supper, which caused a flurry of criticism.

As EADaily reported, the opening ceremony of the XXXIII Summer Olympic Games in Paris was held on July 26. For the first time, the athletes' parade was held not at the stadium, but on boats along the Seine River.

In addition to the obvious blunders of the organizers, such as the inverted flag with five rings, the North and South Korean announcers confused, for which the national teams later had to apologize, the ceremony was replete with dubious creative findings, including a version of the Last Supper.

The Greek portal Pronews called it evidence of the collapse of civilization and Christian culture in Western Europe.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban joined the general chorus of critics of this event. According to him, the Paris show demonstrated the West's lack of a common moral basis.

The French Episcopal Conference also criticized the Sodomite opening ceremony of the Summer Olympic Games in Paris for "ridiculing Christianity."

Vakhtang Kipshidze, Deputy Head of the Synodal Department of the Moscow Patriarchate for Church-Society Relations and the Media, is confident that everything that underlies the cultural identity of the French people is being destroyed now, and this will lead to a civilizational catastrophe.

Observing the wave of indignation, the IOC considered it necessary to apologize for the "separate scenes" of the opening ceremony of the Games. If someone was offended by these very scenes, "it was unintentional and the Organizing Committee regrets."
