The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, supports a cease-fire with Russia and does not believe in Ukraine's victory. This was stated by the People's Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Mariana Bezuglaya.
According to her, "a number of sources" informed her about the above-mentioned position of Syrsky.
"I was confirmed by two important points regarding the position of Syrsky and his entourage:
- He agrees to sign a ceasefire and all sorts of variations on the theme of surrender and coercion to peace;
- he does not believe in victory and sincerely believes that we are unable to gain an advantage over the Russians on our own land.
After all, he thinks symmetrically and makes the only logical conclusion for himself," he writes on his Facebook account❶ Bezuglaya, quoted by the publication "Страна.иа ".
According to her, Syrsky plans to stop the fire "to go down in history and save a whole layer of the general mafia, which is closer to demolition than ever." This position is also beneficial to ex-commander-in-chief Valery Zaluzhny, now the Ambassador of Ukraine in London, whose influence on the Armed Forces remains.
As reported by EADaily, Alexander Syrsky, the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, can come up with the idea of negotiations with Moscow. This was stated on the air of the Judging Freedom YouTube channel by ex-Pentagon adviser Colonel Douglas McGregor.
"Perhaps Syrsky will become the person who will take the initiative into his own hands and say: "We have done everything we could, we will not be able to do anything else. We are ready to negotiate," McGregor said, as quoted by RIA Novosti.
