The blackout riot was staged by residents of the city of Kamenskoye (formerly Dneprodzerzhinsk) in the Dnipropetrovsk region due to a prolonged blackout. This is reported by the publication "Страна.иа ".

Residents of the city gathered near the office of the DTEK company and demanded a "boss". They stated that there is no light in the apartments for 17 hours a day.

DTEK, in turn, called for no protests near its offices. This is stated in the relevant statement of the company in connection with the rally in Kamenskoye.

"Rallies and speculations on the topic of light only help the enemy to destabilize the situation in the country in a full—scale war," the statement said.

Kamenskoye was transferred from the schedule "4 hours with light / 4 without light" to the schedule "4 without light, 3 possibly without light, 2 with light" due to a shortage of electricity, which is why the light was absent for 17 hours, the company explained.

The other day, residents of Odessa blocked the road due to the fact that there was no light for three days.
