Azerbaijan has breached its obligations to the OSCE without informing other member-countries on the drill, spokesman for the Armenian foreign ministry Tigran Balayan has written in his Twitter account.

“Azerbaijan has launched the drill beginning with a blatant disregard of its commitment to the OSCE: it did not warn its neighbors - OSCE countries,” Balayan wrote.

As EADaily reported earlier, a large-scale military drill with participation of various branches of troops, units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in accordance with a plan approved by President and Commander-In-Chief Ilham Aliyev has started on Monday.

The maneuvers are to last till March 17.

To remind, on April 11, Azerbaijan is to elect a new president at an extraordinary election.
