Governor of Odessa region in Ukraine Mikheil Saakashvili believes that a new Maidan is possible in Ukraine, and activities of the current government will cause it.
“I do not wish a new Maidan, because there are too many reasons that will make not that peaceful. But this will be a Maidan caused by the government itself,” Saakashvili announced while speaking at an anti-corruption conference in Kiev. Besides, he once again slammed actions of the Cabinet of Ministers.
As EADaily reported earlier, in a November 9 interview to a Ukrainian TV-channel Saakashvili said that the machinery of government might collapse in six months. “The machinery of the government has lost its credibility; it even cannot steal any more, as the money does not reach the budget, it is stolen before getting into the budget. … We are getting amazed that they serve the oligarchs. The oligarchs give them everything, and the state gives them nothing. If within next five-six months there are no revenues, the machinery of the government will collapse. The government will be paralyzed,” he said then.
