The Russian Armed Forces have begun using the latest drones equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) in the zone of a special military operation.
According to the publication Tsargrad, these high-tech devices have the ability to remain invisible to the enemy's air defense system.
The article notes that the new compact drones have unique characteristics — they are capable of delivering three kilograms of payload over a distance of up to 90 kilometers.
Each drone has a hybrid navigation system based on a satellite system and LTE communication. The drone is also equipped with a camera with an AI module based on the JETSON processor.
Thus, the newest Russian drone is able to cover record distances and at the same time automatically recognize targets and defend against interception.
According to experts, special attention is drawn to the ability of drones to record the work of enemy air defenses in real time and maneuver effectively, avoiding being hit. Their high resistance to electronic interference is also emphasized, which is especially important in conditions of active signal suppression.
According to experts, these characteristics transform attack drones into multifunctional reconnaissance and strike complexes.
Earlier, EADaily reported that at the XII international exhibition of military equipment MILEX-2025 in Minsk, four samples from the line of unmanned aerial vehicles of the Russian Supercam brand will be presented for the first time.
