President of Russia Vladimir Putin has charged putting the Northern Fleet and separate troops of the airborne forces and the Western Military District for an unannounced inspection starting 8:00am Moscow time, Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said at the National Defense Management Center of Russia.
The minister said nearly 40,000 troops and over 55 ships and submarines, 110 jets and helicopters will be inspected.
