The Russian authorities are confident of their victory in the conflict on Ukraine, victory is very close.This was stated by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov at a briefing in New Daily on the eve of the BRICS summit.
"We are confident that victory [in the conflict on Ukraine] is very close. We are very confident in our military potential, in our military operations, they are very successful," the Kremlin spokesman stressed.
In this regard, he also noted that if Kiev had been able to make a number of decisions, the conflict would have ended long ago. Peskov also recalled that Moscow had long indicated on what terms it would be ready to resolve the crisis.
As reported by EADaily, earlier today, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that negotiations on the settlement of the Ukraine is not being conducted.
