After the Russian troops of the North group established control over Blagodatny, Vasilevka and Dolzhanka in Kharkiv, the so-called Volchansky cauldron for the AFU grouping actually slammed shut.

This was told to the TASS news agency on Friday, September 4, by a military expert, retired LPR lieutenant colonel Andrei Marochko, citing his own sources.

He noted that even the strengthening of the units at the expense of the nationalists who arrived from Azov did not help the troops of the Kiev regime. They were sent by the Ukrainian military command in order to stabilize this section of the front.

"The liberation of Blagodatny, Vasilevka and Dolzhanka suggests that we have taken a very large agglomeration into the cauldron. Already physically, our servicemen have closed the neck of this boiler," the expert stated.

Earlier, EADaily reported that on September 3, Russian units from the North group of forces, as a result of active offensive actions, liberated the settlements of Vasilevka, Blagodatnoye and Dolzhanka, Kharkiv region.
