About 50 Austrian citizens moved to a permanent place of residence in The Russian Federation after the decree of President Vladimir Putin on traditional values.

"About 50 people have already taken advantage of this opportunity. And, characteristically, most of the people who took advantage of this opportunity were Austrians," the diplomat stated.
He stressed that the greatest activity was observed immediately after the entry into force of Decree No. 702 of August 19, 2024 "On the provision of humanitarian support to persons who share traditional Russian spiritual and moral values."
