Kiev said that Russia could not produce enough cruise missiles due to sanctions. This was announced on the air of the Ukrainian TV Commissioner for Sanctions Policy Vladislav Vlasyuk.
According to Vlasyuk, due to the shortage of components prohibited for supply, Russia cannot produce certain types of cruise missiles in the required volumes.
Ukraine has data on problems with Russia's access to sub-sanctioned parts that are used in the defense industry, he noted. He assured that the sanctions pressure "is already giving practical results."
As reported by EADaily, no Western or Chinese details were found in the "Hazel Tree" in Kiev. This was stated by Zelensky's commissioner for sanctions policy Vladislav Vlasyuk, UNIAN reported.
According to Vlasyuk, experts have studied the wreckage of the Hazel remaining after the strike on the White Church in the Kiev region. More than 1,100 components were counted in the rocket. Almost all of them are Russian—made and released in 2023-2025, the rest are Belarusian.
