Escaped from Comedian wanted in Russia in Israel

Stand-up comedian and songwriter Semyon Slepakov❶ is wanted. This was reported by the press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

It is specified that the investigation of the criminal case under Part 2 of Article 330.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (non-fulfillment of the duties of a foreign agent) has been completed. The maximum penalty under this article is imprisonment for up to two years.

According to investigators, the comedian, being outside of Russia, continued to publish materials on social networks without mandatory marking of a foreign agent. At the same time, twice during the year he was brought to administrative responsibility for the absence of labeling in publications.

"The person involved has been charged in absentia, he has been put on the wanted list," the report says.

As reported by EADaily, earlier the press service of the Moscow Prosecutor's Office announced the initiation of a criminal case against Slepakov ❶ under part 2 of Article 330.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (evasion of duties provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation on foreign agents).

At the end of April of this year, Slepakov❶ was arrested in absentia by the decision of the Basmanny Court of Moscow.
