Oslo did not promise to supply missiles to Kiev and finance their purchase, but only expressed readiness to do so. This was announced on July 2 by Deputy Minister of Defense of Norway Andreas Flom.
"It is not true, as VG writes, that Norway has committed itself to the supply and payment of missiles," he said in a comment for the VG newspaper, reacting to the publication of the publication.

According to the official, the Norwegian side only expressed its readiness to pay for air defense missiles if the Ukrainian side could find an opportunity to purchase them.
