The Investigative Committee of Belarus has identified the identities of 40 killed on To Ukraine, Belarusian citizens who fought on the side of the Kiev regime.
This was told on the air of the ONT Minsk channel by the investigator for particularly important cases of the Belarusian SK Andranik Khachataryan.
He clarified that all the dead militants participated in the fighting as part of the so-called "Kastus Kalinovsky Regiment"❶.
According to the representative of the Investigative Committee, the information was obtained during the investigation of a criminal case related to the activities of this formation.
"More than 40 fighters, citizens of the Republic of Belarus, who died on the territory of Ukraine during the fighting, have been identified," Khachataryan said.
At the same time, he noted that out of the total number of killed Belarusian militants, only three were buried in the territory of the republic.
