Gas reserves in Europe have dropped to the lowest level in the last five years. This was stated in Gazprom with reference to Gas Infrastructure Europe data.
"The volume of gas in European underground storage facilities is 9 billion cubic meters or 16.6% less than last year. In storage facilities in the Netherlands, stocks have remained at a historic low since the beginning of the injection season. It started in Europe two and a half months ago, but the Dutch UGS are only 1/5 full," the Russian company said.
They noted that there are four gas storage facilities in the Netherlands: "At the same time, one of them, the Grapskerk UGS, from which all gas was taken last winter, is still empty."
