A young Orenburg resident transmitted data for drone strikes to the military intelligence of Ukraine

A young Russian man was detained in the Orenburg region, collecting data on critical infrastructure facilities for military intelligence of Ukraine. This was reported by the FSB Public Relations Center.

"The Federal Security Service in the territory of the Orenburg region stopped the illegal activities of a citizen of the Russian Federation born in 2008, involved in the commission of high treason," the report says.

It was established that the young man in the Telegram messenger "proactively established contact with a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and, on his instructions, collected information about critical infrastructure facilities for subsequent transfer to the Ukrainian side in order to strike them with unmanned aerial vehicles." Correspondence with the curator of the GUR was found in his means of communication The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, confirming its assistance to the enemy.

The investigative Department of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Orenburg region opened a criminal case against the detainee under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (high treason). By a court decision, he was given a preventive measure in the form of detention.
