"The historic Wolfsbrunnen Castle, built at the beginning of the XX century, is waiting for new owners: the exclusive property is being sold at a price of more than 11 million euros. The castle is located in the heart of Germany — in the commune of Meinhard in the north of the federal state of Hesse. The estate is one of the most exclusive and expensive real estate properties in Germany," the publication says.
It is noted that the price includes the castle itself, included in the list of cultural heritage sites, as well as a park with an area of 84 thousand square meters. m. Now there is a luxury hotel with 53 rooms.
The building is in the neo-Renaissance style, with spacious interiors. There is a restaurant, a bar, a wine cellar, a library and even its own helipad. There is also a special relaxation area with a sauna and a fitness center. And the terraces overlook Lake Verratalsee.
According to the newspaper, in 2009 the castle was bought by "a married couple of Russian millionaires — Irina Klochkova and Andrei Trubitsin." They paid about 3 million euros for it and invested in the reconstruction, turning the facility into a hotel. Now the castle is unexpectedly put up for sale.
"The reason remains unclear," the publication summarizes.
