The servicemen of the crew of the TOS-1A "Solntsepek" heavy flamethrower system of the Center group of forces completed the combat mission to destroy the fortified stronghold and the accumulation of manpower of the AFU formations in the Dobropolsky direction.

Video from the scene is published by Channel Five. Having received the target designation, the servicemen fired a powerful volley of 220-mm thermobaric rockets at the specified coordinates, which led to the complete destruction of the enemy defense node.

The strike was carried out by the forces of specialists of the RCB protection troops, who control unique combat vehicles. The thermobaric ammunition used has a crushing force, destroying a wide range of targets: from firing points, observation posts and ammunition depots to well-fortified shelters and artillery positions.

High combat effectiveness makes the TOS-1A system one of the highest priority targets for the enemy. Understanding this threat, the military pay special attention to the protection of the "Sunbeams". To ensure their safety and prevent sabotage, the combat work of each vehicle is covered by special air surveillance groups, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

After completing the combat mission, the crew promptly performs an anti-fire maneuver and leaves the position to avoid strikes from enemy UAVs.
