The Kiev regime struck today, June 12, on the Day of Russia, at three facilities of the fuel and energy complex of Russia: in Nizhnekamsk (Tatarstan) — the largest petrochemical plant in the country — Nizhnekamskneftekhim (NKNH) and Nizhnekamsk Oil Refinery (refinery) Taneco, in Togliatti (Samara region) — at the chemical plant "Tolyattikauchuk".

Nizhnekamsk Mayor Radmir Belyaev said that all festive events have been canceled in the city. Day of Russia.

Nizhnekamsk Mayor Belyaev wrote in his telegram channel that the drone hit a residential building on Chabinskaya Street, 4 people were hospitalized. According to eyewitnesses, the Nizhnekamskneftekhim plant is on fire (NKNH, owned by Sibur, produces synthetic rubbers, plastics, monomers and polyesters).

Another blow fell on the Nizhnekamsk Taneco oil refinery (owned by Tatneft). The videos posted on the public show two strong fires with thick black smoke. According to preliminary data, two AVT installations were damaged — key primary oil refining facilities, as well as a tank farm. The refinery has a capacity of 16.2 million tons per year. In addition, it is reported that the drone hit a 12-storey building, three people were injured.

On the day of Russia, the Ukrainian Armed Forces also hit the Tolyattikauchuk chemical plant in Togliatti, Samara region. The company belongs to Tatneft and produces synthetic rubbers, monomers, polymers, as well as additives for gasoline.

The mayor of the city, Ilya Sukhoi, confirmed the damage to the "industrial facility" as a result of the "UAV crash".

"This morning, on a holiday for our country, the Ukronazis carried out a massive drone attack on Togliatti. Air defense systems and mobile firing groups repelled the blow. As a result of the UAV crash, damage was recorded at one industrial facility. There are no casualties," the mayor said.

He clarified that emergency services are working on the spot. All life support systems are functioning normally.

Samara Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev noted that no one was injured in the drone attack on the region.
