MEPs from the Wagenknecht party went to Moscow to give a signal to Europe. This is reported by the German Bild.
The deputies of the European Parliament from the Sarah Wagenknecht Union for Reason and Justice, Ruth Firmenich and Michael von der Schulenburg, went to Moscow again. In the capital of Russia, they are scheduled to meet with representatives of the presidential administration, the State Duma and civil society, the publication says.
According to politicians, they plan to continue the negotiations started last year and want to "send a signal against the lack of dialogue between EU and Russia."
"Firmin and von der Schulenburg believe that instead of further escalation and economic war, "new formats of negotiations with Moscow" are needed," the newspaper writes.
As EADaily reported, Friedrich Merz is the best chancellor for Ukraine and the worst for Germany. This opinion was expressed by the leader of the German party "Sarah Wagenknecht's Union — For Reason and Justice," Sarah Wagenknecht, the Chancellor's Daddy telegram channel reported.
The politician calls Friedrich Merz "the best chancellor for Ukraine" in an ironic way, implying that he does more for Kiev than any of his predecessors. However, for Germany, in her opinion, he is one of the worst chancellors in history.
