The end of Maya Khvalinskaya's Parisian fairy tale — she lost the final of the French Open to the Russian. This is reported by the Polish radio station RMF24.

So the radio commented on the loss of the Khvalin Russian tennis player Mirra Andreeva in the final of Roland Garros.

"Maya Khvalinskaya met with Russian Mirra Andreeva in the final of the French Open. Polka became a real revelation of the tournament — she came to Paris as the 114th player in the ranking, having little experience in major arenas. She qualified and then knocked out six competitors with a higher rating. Her opponent, 19-year—old Russian Mirra Andreeva, passed the tournament like a storm," the publication says.

Andreeva won the Grand Slam singles tournament for the first time. Khvalinskaya became the vice-champion of the French Open.

Before Saturday's final of the French Open, French Le Figaro wrote that Russian tennis player Mirra Andreeva could lower Maya Khvalinskaya to the ground. The newspaper called her the sensation of the women's tournament, and Khvalinskaya's path a "fairy tale," noting that she is "in seventh heaven." However, Le Figaro wrote, there is a high probability that this fairy tale will suddenly end in the finale.
