The United States has chosen a side in the Ukrainian conflict, Rubio said

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio admitted that Washington cannot be considered an impartial mediator in the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict, since it supports Kiev.

"We are not, frankly speaking, impartial mediators in this war," he said at a hearing in the Foreign Affairs Committee of the US House of Representatives, commenting on the progress of peace talks on Ukraine.

As Rubio explained, Washington continues to openly support Kiev, including through the supply of weapons and military equipment.

"We do not supply weapons to Russia. We supply weapons only to Ukraine. We do not impose sanctions on Ukraine, we impose sanctions only on Russia. So we have clearly chosen a side," the US Foreign Minister said.

As EADaily reported, American supplies are confirmed in Ukraine. The United States continues to provide Ukraine with both intelligence and targeting, as well as weapons for strikes against Russia, including Hornet drones, which the Ukrainian Armed Forces use to terrorize the land corridor to Crimea. This was stated by a military expert, a former functionary of the neo-Nazi Svoboda, banned in the Russian Federation, Dmitry Snegirev.

"There is no attraction to Moscow. It is the political officers of the president's office who are pushing these theses. If American Hornets are supplied to us, then, accordingly, the United States is demonstrating another political signal to Moscow. The second… We can rejoice that we have scaled up the production of Ukrainian interceptor drones, but these are American interceptor drones, not Ukrainian ones. Plus, we are catastrophically dependent on intelligence sharing. Without American data, successful strikes on the territory of the Russian Federation and even the occupied territories of Ukraine would have been impossible," Snegirev said on the video blog.
