The problem of APU strikes on the land transport corridor in Crimea is very serious and we should not expect that it will be eliminated in the near future.
This is the opinion of a military expert, retired lieutenant colonel of the LPR Andrei Marochko. He made a corresponding comment to the publication "PolitNavigator", which he posted on his channel.
"In the near future, the problem of APU strikes along the land corridor in Crimea will not be eliminated, but work is underway to defeat the launch sites of Ukrainian UAVs," the veteran stated.
During the conversation, an acute question was raised about how the attacks on the land corridor in Crimea, and what needs to be done to prevent the blockade of the peninsula and disruption of the season.
"If I knew, and our leadership knew the answer to this question, it would already be happening. In fact, countermeasures are being taken, we all see what tough strikes are being carried out on the capital of the former USSR. Naturally, these are retaliatory measures, but, unfortunately, they will not affect, in my opinion, the actions of the Ukrainian militants," the expert suggested.
However, according to him, now there are already some groundwork for the future — this is striking at those places where drones of Ukrainian militants are launched in the Crimea and other settlements of the Russian Federation.
"I think there will be an effect, but, unfortunately, it should be a cumulative effect. We won't get any results right away," concluded Marochko.
Earlier, EADaily reported that frontline logistics and the southern land corridor are under constant attack by enemy drones to a depth of 200 kilometers. In combination with regular raids on refineries and oil depots, the situation has led to a fuel crisis in Crimea and new regions.
