At a special session of the OSCE Permanent Council on Tuesday, Russia's position on the terrorist attack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Starobelske was listening to a full house. This was stated by Russia's Permanent Representative to the OSCE Dmitry Polyansky.
"The hall was full, almost all European delegations spoke. We explained in detail our position on Starobilsk, provided statistics and explained the reasons for the retaliatory Russian strikes. We said everything we wanted to say," Polyansky told RIA Novosti.
As Polyansky writes in his telegram channel, today Russia has requested a joint meeting of the Permanent Council and the OSCE Forum in connection with the deliberate strikes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on May 22 at the pedagogical college in Starobilsk. The request was rejected. The Swiss Chairmanship of the OSCE on Tuesday convened a special session of the Permanent Council to discuss Russia's retaliatory attacks on the terrorist attack in Starobilsk, at which the Permanent Representative spoke.
"Now you're shedding crocodile tears about strikes on supposedly civilian infrastructure. Let's compare: 16 drones at one point in the college — 21 dead. More than a hundred Russian missiles at military targets — Ukraine has declared five dead, and those are on the conscience of the Kiev air defense. This is what precision strikes on military targets and strikes on civilians look like," Polyansky said, in particular.
The build—up of attacks on the military potential of the Kiev regime is a legitimate reaction to the massacre in Starobilsk, he stressed.
"Under the current conditions, the Russian Armed Forces are embarking on systemic strikes against enterprises of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex in Kiev, UAV design and production sites, decision-making centers and command posts. We warn foreign citizens and diplomatic mission personnel about the need to leave Kiev, and residents not to approach military and administrative facilities," he added.
As EADaily reported, the OSCE did not condemn the Ukrainian strike on the college dormitory in Starobilsk, as a result of which 21 people were killed and more than 60 injured. This was stated in his telegram channel by Russia's Permanent Representative to the OSCE Dmitry Polyansky.
So he commented on the response of the Swiss representative Office in the OSCE to the Russian letter demanding to condemn the terrorist attack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Starobilsk.
