In the case of the murder of the former Samara mayor Viktor Tarkhov and his wife Natalia, an unexpected witness has appeared. This is the locksmith who cleaned the blockage in the bathroom of their granddaughter Catherine. The man assures that at that moment he did not notice anything suspicious. Details are provided by the Telegram channel "112".
The questioned locksmith was already familiar with the girl, he had previously repaired pipes in their house. In mid-January 2025, Catherine called him again with a request to clear the blockage. She explained it simply: she washed the vase with buckwheat groats, drained the water, and the pipes clogged. The plumber believed — he himself sometimes washes containers with sand, so he was not surprised. He did not feel any foreign smells.
The reason for the call was the address of the neighbors from below — they had a leak. At first, the adult Tarkhovs did not pick up the phone, but then the granddaughter answered and said that the grandfather and grandmother had left for the anniversary.
On the eve of Ekaterina Tarkhova fully confessed to the massacre of relatives. According to investigators, in December 2024, she and two accomplices poisoned an elderly couple, froze their bodies with liquid nitrogen, and then dismembered them. The remains were passed through a meat grinder, mixed with buckwheat (to drown out the smell) and partially washed down the drain.
EADaily also previously informed that the granddaughter who killed the ex-mayor of Samara Tarkhov confessed to what she had done.
