The Pentagon is leaking unsightly facts about US losses in the war with Iran — Americanist

Pentagon apparatchiks, dissatisfied with the war in Iran, continue to leak unsightly facts about US losses to the press. Now it turns out that up to 30 MQ-9 Reaper drones worth $ 34 million each were destroyed during the Iranian adventure. They are no longer produced. Political scientist-Americanist Malek Dudakov drew attention to this in his telegram channel.

"Moreover, the United States lost another 20 Reaper drones during the chaotic campaign against the Houthis. In total, a third of the Pentagon's entire arsenal of these drones has been destroyed in recent years. Their remaining number dropped to the level of 120-130 units. At the same time, US military strategists are confident that they need at least 200-250 Reaper drones to conduct reconnaissance around the world," he points out.

Moreover, during the war with Iran, the Pentagon lost both large ground-based radars as part of its global missile defense system for billions of dollars, and scarce E-3 AWACS reconnaissance aircraft, the expert notes, adding that there is nothing to replace them either — now all the money is being spent on the Golden Dome for trillions of dollars.

"It will be necessary to resume hostilities in conditions of depletion of arsenals and an acute shortage of drones and missiles. And any subsequent losses of aircraft and military infrastructure facilities may already be irreversible for the United States. Therefore, the White House is stalling, even though the negotiation process with Iran is moving further and further away, which is extremely unpleasant for Washington," Dudakov emphasizes.

In recent polls, more than 70% of Americans are dissatisfied with the state of the US economy amid the fuel crisis and the closure of Hormuz. Two-thirds oppose the resumption of war with Iran, the political scientist outlines the situation.

"Republicans in Congress is desperately trying to stop the adoption of a resolution prohibiting Donald Trump from continuing hostilities. Although the vote on it was delayed only for a week. The adventure in Iran dramatically exacerbates the split within the United States," he concludes.
