Designer and blogger Artemy Lebedev could not get a Schengen visa. He told about this in a video on the VK platform. Video".

According to him, he applied for a visa through the Greek embassy, but was refused. The reason for the refusal was the decision of Poland, which banned Lebedev from entering the country.

"Since Poland is part of the Schengen area, then, accordingly, all other countries of the Schengen area are prohibited from issuing me a Schengen visa at the request of the Poles. Beaver is a hen, ***," Lebedev concluded.

As reported by EADaily, in early May, Archimandrite Simeon (Tomachinsky) told about the refusal to issue Schengen. The refusal was accompanied by the phrase that "one or more Member States consider that you pose a threat to public order or internal security."

He was going to take part in The Congress of the Orthodox Youth of Germany, which will be held in Cologne. At the same time, the priest received an invitation from the organizing committee of the congress, "in German, on the letterhead of the German Diocese (this is the Russian Orthodox Church abroad), signed by its secretary Archpriest Nikolai Artemov, a German citizen."
