The Hungarian authorities summoned the Russian ambassador to Budapest, Yevgeny Stanislavov, on May 13, European media reported, citing Hungarian Prime Minister Peter Magyar.
According to the prime minister, the Russian ambassador is expected at the ministry on the morning of May 14, he will be received by Hungarian Foreign Minister Anita Orban.
The Hungarian Foreign Ministry summoned the ambassador after the attack of the Armed Forces on the west of Ukraine, Magyar said.
"The Hungarian government strongly condemns the drone attack in Transcarpathia, Anita Orban summoned the Russian ambassador to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs," he said.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian Armed Forces launched a massive strike on the western regions of Ukraine. As a result of the attack, objects in the Volyn and Transcarpathian regions were hit.
The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, said that Russia today carried out one of the longest air attacks on Ukraine using drones. According to him, more than 800 Russian drones hit 20 regions of the country.
