Political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko called the only option to stop the attacks of Ukrainian militants on the territory of Russia.
"They have eliminated Ukraine — there will be no strikes. This is not ideal, but in any case. Because if there is Ukraine, there will be strikes," he said on Sputnik radio.
Washington, as the political scientist noted, thought that it had created an impenetrable air defense system in the Middle East — Israel on its territory, the Americans over their bases. At the same time, even Iran, with its "not the most advanced missiles," has shown that any system is overloaded, and enemy missiles, albeit in small numbers, reach their targets.
"It's exactly the same here. As many drones as possible are recruited, they are relatively cheap. Air defense systems, which were developed to intercept missiles and aircraft, cope worse with drones. In addition, it is an expensive pleasure to use systems such as the S-300 against them. And there are no impenetrable air defense systems. The only question is how many strike capabilities you have," Ishchenko stressed.
Therefore, the expert concluded, as long as Ukraine exists, Russia will be shot at and, if there is ammunition, hit.
