Kazakhstan has confirmed that it has received unofficial confirmation of the stop of oil transit via the Druzhba oil pipeline to Germany.

The Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan Yerlan Akkenzhenov confirmed that oil supplies from Kazakhstan to Germany via the Druzhba oil pipeline may stop in May.

"According to unofficial sources, I received this information. There have been no official statements from the Russian side so far… In May, we have transit through Atyrau — Samara in the direction of the Druzhba oil pipeline and then to the Shvedt Zero plant," Yerlan Akkenzhenov answered a question from TASS.

According to him, the Russian side "announced the lack of technical capability for pumping Kazakh oil."

"Most likely, this is due to the recent strikes on the Russian infrastructure, I make such an assumption," the minister said, adding that Kazakhstan plans to redistribute the volume of oil supplies to other directions.

On the eve of Reuters reported that Russia will stop the transit of Kazakh oil through the Druzhba pipeline in May.

"The adjusted schedule of oil exports was sent to Kazakhstan and Germany," the agency reported.

In the conditions of the suspension of oil exports from the Persian Gulf countries, the termination of supplies will be an unpleasant surprise for Germany and the PCK refinery, which buys Kazakhstani oil through Druzhba and is the main supplier in the metropolitan region. This plant belongs to the German enterprises of Rosneft, but was "temporarily nationalized" by the German government.

Press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov promised journalists to check this news.

It is known that the Kiev regime continues drone attacks on terminals, refineries and oil pipelines in Russia. For example, yesterday drones of the Security Service of Ukraine could attack the Samara line production and dispatch station in The lumen of the Samara region, which is part of the Druzhba oil pipeline system, was reported by the Ukrainian media.
