"The adjusted schedule of oil exports was sent to Kazakhstan and Germany," the agency reports.
In the conditions of the suspension of oil exports from the Persian Gulf countries, the termination of supplies will be an unpleasant surprise for Germany and the PCK refinery, which buys Kazakhstani oil through Druzhba and is the main supplier in the metropolitan region. This plant belongs to the German enterprises of Rosneft, but was "temporarily nationalized" by the German government.
"Oil exports from Kazakhstan to Germany via the Russian Druzhba pipeline in 2025 amounted to 2.146 million metric tons, or about 43,000 barrels per day, which is 44% more than in 2024, and 730,000 tons in the first quarter of 2026," Reuters reports.
"We will try to check this," said Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President, when asked about a possible halt in supplies.
