The Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade (MARCH) of Belarus informed the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of Russia about the goods that are passed off as Belarusian on marketplaces. This was reported by the press service of MARCH.
It is reported that the Belarusian department has collected specific facts of the sale of allegedly Belarusian products, which in fact are not, but are produced in Russia, in some cases — in the PRC. Often, the national flag of Belarus, the inscriptions "Made in Belarus" and so on are used on labels or in the description.
"During the analysis of Wildberries and OZON marketplaces with the national domain .ru, over 25 articles of these products were identified, including Batkin Reserve brand products and other names," MARCH noted.
As follows from the message, goods made not in Belarus can be issued for the products of such enterprises of the republic as OJSC Luninetsky Dairy Plant, OJSC Slutsk Cheese Factory, OJSC Molochny Mir, OJSC Milkavita, OJSC Rogachevsky Dairy Cannery.
In addition, MARCH published a photo showing socks allegedly made in Belarus, but in fact — outside of it.
Recall, Belarus and Russia has been building a Union State since 1999. Previously, the topic of counterfeit products has already been raised at a joint meeting of the MARCH and FAS boards. Then the Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of Belarus Artur Karpovich drew attention to the fact that there are no borders between the two countries, and the terms of sale of goods and services are simpler than unscrupulous intermediaries use, trying to make money on the consumer.
