Drone operators of the Russian Ministry of Defense have successfully mastered heavy hexacopters "Koshchei-40", working together with the drone SP-40−30. This happened, as the Krasnaya Zvezda newspaper informs, at one of the ranges of the Moscow Military District.
The six-screw Koshchei has equipment for dropping four TP-62 anti-tank mines. We are talking about a shock-type system, the tests of which started at the beginning of this year.
The details of the development of the SP-40−30 drone, which is capable of delivering up to 30 kilograms of cargo over a distance of up to 40 kilometers, are also known. Plus, the drone can carry a winch to avoid damage to the cargo during delivery.
"She gently and smoothly lowers the load at a speed of one to three meters per second from a height of up to 300 meters," says one of the developers of the SP-40−30 drone.
