The Easter truce with Ukraine announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin was accepted by many social media users with disbelief and criticism.
"The Supreme declared the Easter truce from 16.00 on April 11 to the end of April 12. The Ukrainians will maliciously violate it, and then the Russian Armed Forces will strike back at. A story familiar to Donbass, since 2014, alas," the telegram channel "Two Majors" writes.
In numerous comments to the news about the truce, social media users broke out into abuse.
"There were no truces at Easter in 1945," writes one of the commentators.
"Can I tell you when the UAVs will fly? I think just in time for a truce… Of course, then our people will say, they say, "Oh, how not good." At least they will show a picture of the norms," another user notes.
"The satanic Banderstan will not observe anything. On the contrary, they will do everything to ensure that there are many victims and destruction, and the main goal will be temples. For the first time or what?" — writes the third.
