The British company ISS Aerospace has introduced the drone launcher HAL10 Hybrid Air-Systems Launcher, capable of launching up to 10 UAVs of various classes. The development reflects the promising direction of the development of unmanned combat systems, which will soon be used even more massively. This assessment was given by the authors of the telegram channel "Two Majors", sending a message in a well-known direction — "the only question is the speed of understanding this need."
"In general, this development reflects the promising direction of the development of combat unmanned systems, which will soon be used even more massively and offline, where AI determines the optimal routes and classifies targets, and one operator (for tens or hundreds of drones) sets the flight task and gives the command to kill," military correspondents comment.
As they note, "systems of this type in the near future should qualitatively strengthen the work of small "air defense" and return the opportunity to use heavy equipment in offensive operations."
"The only question is the speed of understanding this need," the Z-bloggers emphasized.
The HAL10 Hybrid Air-Systems Launcher is a modular launcher platform capable of launching up to 10 UAVs of various classes. At the current stage, the installation is adapted to ISSOS WASP drones, which have a flight range of up to 45 km, a flight duration of up to 30 minutes, without a payload or up to 22 minutes with a full payload, and a maximum payload capacity of 1 kg.
The drone is mainly designed to perform reconnaissance tasks, but can be used to intercept other drones and attack poorly protected targets as part of a "swarm".
"It is obvious that the design of the HAL10 allows it to be placed on heavy equipment and tanks at sea," the Two Majors point out.
