Iran has promised to destroy the energy infrastructure of the Middle East and close the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait. According to President Masoud Pezeshkian, 14 million people are ready to join the Iranian army.

Tehran also said that if the United States attacks Iran's power plants, "the entire region and Saudi Arabia will be plunged into complete darkness," and Bab-el-Mandeb, strategically important for the world economy, will be closed.
