At least six US military personnel could have died as a result of the crash of the C-130 in Iran. This was stated by ex-CIA analyst Larry Johnson.
So he commented on the operation to evacuate the pilots of the downed F-15E fighter from Iran.
"They are trying to hide and hush up the losses. In fact, for the sake of saving only one person, 6, 10 or even 12 others could have died in the end," Johnson said, quoted by RT.
He noted that the version usually sounds in the American media: "We successfully carried out the operation, we saved him, everything went great."
"But if we count the lost air assets, at least two Black Hawk helicopters were destroyed during this operation, as well as at least one or two C-130 aircraft," the expert added.
This happened just two days after US President Donald Trump boasted that all of Iran's air defense systems had been completely destroyed, Johnson stressed.
As reported by EADaily, Donald Trump assures that both evacuated pilots of the downed F-15E are on the mend. The US president told reporters about this. So he answered the question of how the rescued pilot was doing.
