Some foreign statesmen have already shown interest in visiting Moscow to celebrate Victory Day on May 9, the Russian capital is preparing to welcome them.
This was reported to the Kremlin Pool correspondent Alexander Yunashev by assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Yuri Ushakov.
"A number of statesmen have already expressed a desire to come to Russia on May 9. We confirmed to them with our side is ready to accept them," he said.
The names of the guests are still kept secret by the Kremlin, but it is already known for sure.: On this day, the president will have "not only solemn events, but also important international contacts."
"A parade will be held on May 9, a holiday, but international contacts of our president will also take place," Ushakov informed.
Recall that on May 9 in Russia will celebrate the 81st anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. On this day, parades, processions and concerts dedicated to the feat of Soviet soldiers are held throughout the country.
