US strikes on Iranian civilian targets are a sign of moral collapse. This was stated on the social network X by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi.
So he commented, in particular, on today's strike on the bridge near Tehran.
"A strike on civilian structures, including unfinished bridges, will not force the Iranians to surrender. This only conveys the defeat and moral collapse of the enemy, who is in disarray. Every bridge and building will be built stronger. What will never recover is the damage to America's status," Araqchi writes, quoted by The Guardian.
The publication notes that today US President Donald Trump "boasted" of hitting the B1 bridge in Karaj, west of Tehran, which killed at least two people and injured several others.
According to Iranian state media, the death toll from the strike on the B1 bridge has risen to 8, and another 95 people were injured.
As reported by EADaily, US President Donald Trump posted a video of a strike on a bridge near Tehran and urged Iran to conclude a deal before it was too late. He stated this on the Truth Social social network.
The American president warned that "there is still a lot ahead."
