There are more and more signs that the European Union is changing the political vector towards Ukraine, refusing to support Kiev in favor of energy cooperation with Moscow.
The German edition of Berliner Zeitung (BZ) writes about this, noting that within the European Union itself, voices about the resumption of energy supplies from Russia.
"The recent postponement in Brussels of the presentation of the plan for the complete abandonment of Russian gas is seen as the first visible sign of this development," the article says.
Another sign of a political shift in the EU, according to the authors, was the statement by the head of the European diplomacy, Kai Kallas, about the difficulties in allocating a loan of € 90 billion to Kiev.
At the same time, there is a feeling that it is no longer just that Hungary is blocking this loan, it is about a change of mood in other EU countries. This jeopardizes all the multibillion-dollar aid promised to Ukraine from Europe.
As EADaily reported, earlier the special representative of the President of the Russian Federation Kirill Dmitriev predicted that the European Union and Britain would beg Russia for energy supplies.
