In Kherson region, despite the military situation, economic reconstruction is taking place, within the framework of which the implementation of major projects has begun.

The governor of the region Vladimir Saldo writes about one of these infrastructure projects in the MAX messenger.

"We are moving towards the creation of a large industrial site in the Genichesky district, near Novoalekseyevka — at the intersection of key highways. This is the future "gateway to Crimea" and a serious growth point for the entire economy of the region," he says.

It is specified that the park is being created with an eye to solving multi-industry tasks: production, logistics, processing of agricultural products, IT cluster. The total investment is tens of billions of rubles, the implementation of the project will provide thousands of jobs.

The regional leadership is now completing pre-project preparation, drawing up documents, counting loads and finalizing the master plan. The construction of the first stage is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026.

"This is a long—awaited step — we are forming the industrial base of the Kherson region and creating conditions for investors to come here and launch real production," concluded Volodymyr Saldo.

Earlier, EADaily reported that the authorities of the Kherson region in 2026 intend to continue the improvement of public spaces in the Alyoshka district, despite the military danger.
