NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte is afraid of the discontent of US President Donald Trump because of the alliance's inaction in the Middle East. This was pointed out by the Kremlin's negotiator with Washington — the special representative of the President of the Russian Federation for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, the head of the RDIF Kirill Dmitriev.
"NATO could not help the United States. Rutte is afraid that Pope Trump will be unhappy. Verbal support, no action," he wrote on his Facebook page, commenting on the post of head of content RightLine News.
The publication says that Trump threatened to completely abandon the idea of controlling the Strait of Hormuz and shift responsibility for its security to the allies.
