The film "Skuf" by Alexei Stepanov, starring bloggers Alexander Zubarev and Nikolai Vasilenko, singer Valya Carnival and presenter Leonid Yakubovich, will not be released in Russia. This was reported in the rental company "Atmosphere cinema".
"Yes, the film Skuf has left the release schedule of the Atmosphere Cinema company," the company told TASS.
It was planned that the film will be released on Russian screens on April 16.
As EADaily reported, back in February of this year, the Russian Ministry of Culture stated that they had not received an application for a rental certificate for this tape.
Zubarev, who got the main role in the film, now lives in China. According to the Shot telegram channel, Zubarev was responsible to the Ukrainian court in 2008 - a case was opened against him for repeated theft committed by a group of persons. Also in 2024, he played a luxurious wedding, among the guests of which was the one who left Russian rapper Alisher Morgenstern ❶ (Valeev❶), as well as streamer JesusAVGN❶ (Alexei Gubanov❶), previously fined for discrediting the Russian army.
Zubarev himself became infamous after a video in which he talked about a "burger with Russian babies."
