Mohsen Rezai, former commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), has been appointed military adviser to the supreme leader of Iran. This was reported today, March 16, by the Iranian Mehr agency.
"Mohsen Rezaei has been appointed military adviser by order of Supreme Leader and Commander—in-Chief Mojtaba Khamenei," the agency said in a statement.
Prior to his appointment, Rezai was a member of the Council for Determining the Political Expediency of Decisions taken, the highest advisory body of Iran, and before that he also headed the IRGC.
Here is just one of Rezai's latest statements:
"There will be no truce this time. Iran's missiles are endless. We will bring the USA to its knees — the fate of Hitler awaits the Americans in the snows of Russia."
