Ambassador Jalali: Iran sent a message to the United States, damaging the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln

The Armed Forces (Armed Forces) of the Islamic Republic of Iran managed to strike at the nuclear aircraft carrier of the United States USS Abraham Lincoln, causing serious damage to it.

This was stated in a comment to RIA Novosti by Iranian Ambassador to Moscow Kazem Jalali. According to him, in this way Tehran sends a certain message to Washington.

"American and Israeli troops are already familiar with some of Iran's defense capabilities. The damage to the aircraft carrier was a message that we hope the aggressor received," the diplomat said.

Earlier, the official representative of the General Staff The Armed Forces of the Iranian army Abolfazl Shekarchi said that the Iranian military launched a missile attack on the American aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln.

The information of the attack was confirmed by the press service of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). They clarified that the missile strike was carried out by a coastal anti-ship complex.
